Strong Financial Indicators and Expansion Plans Supporting Egypt’s Infrastructure & Transportation Projects
The General Assembly of the Egyptian Company for Pipes and Cement Products “Siegwart” approved the company’s budget plan for the fiscal year 2026/2027 during a meeting chaired by Eng. Saad Abu El-Maati, Chairman of the Holding Company for Chemical Industries.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Saad Helal, Managing Director of the Holding Company, Major General Amr Mohamed Ismail, Chairman of Siegwart, along with representatives of the Central Auditing Organization.
During the meeting, Major General Mohamed Abdelhamid El-Kabbani, Managing Director of Siegwart, presented the company’s key financial and operational targets for the upcoming fiscal year, highlighting ambitious growth plans across multiple sectors.
The company targets:
- Net profits of EGP 521.944 million
- Gross profits of EGP 546.595 million
- Expected revenues reaching EGP 2.191 billion
El-Kabbani explained that the new targets represent significant growth compared to FY 2024/2025 results, with projected revenue increases of EGP 901.8 million, reflecting a growth rate of 70.7% driven by the continued expansion of infrastructure and transportation projects across Egypt.
He also noted that Siegwart has already achieved strong financial performance during the first half of the current fiscal year ending December 2025, recording a net profit of EGP 471.5 million, demonstrating the company’s growing operational efficiency and production capabilities.
The Managing Director confirmed that the company’s future sales strategy is built around several major strategic contracts in cooperation with the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) and Orascom Construction, including:
- Supply and development of 300,000 concrete sleepers equipped with USP elastic pads
- Production of 220,000 RFI260 sleepers for the High-Speed Rail Project
- Supply of 180,000 B70 sleepers for the Cairo–Beni Suef railway line
- Production of 200,000 Guard Rail sleepers for modern railway systems
These projects align with Egypt’s national strategy to expand transportation infrastructure, localize advanced industries, and increase local manufacturing capabilities within major national projects.
