Along the past
seventy years , Siegwart was the first in establishing concrete
pipes factories .
It upgraded this industry using the latest
High-Tec , and now it owns two big factories producing such kind
of pipes .

A factory for
producing two spigot pipes joined together by a concrete jointing
. Such pipes are used in irrigation agricultural and
drainage purposes & produced with nominal diameters fm 150 mm till
2000 mm according to The Egyptian Standard Specifications No. 658
for the year 1968 .

Another factory for
producing socket & spigot pipes using a rubber jointing to join
the two pipes together .
These pipes are produced with nominal diameter
from 150 mm till 3000 mm , according to The American Standard
Specifications A.S.T.M and used in sanitary drainage purposes .

Moreover , the
company has produced different manholes with all circular &
square sizes & both of one piece and many rings joined together
with a rubber jointing .

Siegwart also has
added to its production activity manholes of telephone cables
manufactured from sulphate- resistant cement ( sea water cement )
which are used in insulation purposes from both inside and outside
.

Internal Insulation :
1- Using Epoxy with thickness not less than 450
micron .
2- Using P.V.C ( T-LOCK ) sheets .
3- Using the polycoat H.P 1358 m material in
painting from inside with thickness not less than 1000 micron .
4- Using fondu cement with thickness 30 mm from
inside .

External
Insulation :
1- Using the PF4 material with thickness not
less than 350 micron .
2- Using sheets of the poly Ethelin material
with thickness not less than 200 micron
( These methods of insulation guarantee a
complete and full rresistance against drainage water and infected
soil )
